1. Wake Up Sid (2009):

This coming of age film has its heart at the right place as it narrates the story of a rich brat who tries to figure out his own path in life. The film will definitely give you a feeling of owning your own small apartment and renovating it in the way you want and become independent.
2. Tu Hai Mera Sunday (2016):

The film revolves around a group of 5 friends who struggle to find a decent place to play football in the cramped city of Mumbai. This is the perfect kind of feel-good film which will leave you with a big smile on your face.
3. Jhankaar Beats (2003):

4. Kumbalangi Nights (2019):

Kumbalangi Nights is a heart-warming film about the dysfunctional relationship between four brothers in the fishing town of Kumbalangi and how they decide to stand up for each other when one of them falls in love. Watch out for a mind-blowing and genius climax as the film shifts gears to leave you wanting for more. The film boasts of a melodious and mellow soundtrack.
5. Do Dooni Chaar (2010):

Do Dooni Chaar is the story of a middle-class family with big dreams but no means to complete it. 6. Chintu Ka Birthday (2019):

Chintu Ka birthday is a small yet beautiful film, full of innocence. The family stuck in Iraq is determined to celebrate the birthday of their child against all obstacles that come in their way. 7. Socha Na Tha (2005):

Imtiaz Ali’s first try at filmmaking brings you this hilarious film with Abhay Deol and Ayesha Takia as two individuals who shy away from marriage and reject each other at first, only to fall in love later on with their families becoming fierce rivals. Abhay Deol dominates this film from the start with his cooler than cucumber aura and immaturity. This film is definitely worth a try for someone who is interested in a light and fun film-watching experience.
8. Padosan (1968):

Who doesn’t like an all-time classic? Padosan is the perfect combination of humor and friendship. Kishore Kumar as the betel leaves chewing singer/play director will leave you on the floor with his coming timing and fill up your heart with his voice. If you want to know how the rap battle might have come into existence, go watch this film for Sunil Dutt and Kishore Kumar’s bromance and their singing battle with Mehmood in this classic film.
9. Monsoon Wedding (2001):

A wedding is a big deal in India, and so are films, so what happens when they both are combined with precision and flair? You get a fun-filled film that is Monsoon Wedding. This is not your typical boy meets girl, they fall in love film. It tries to tackle a lot of issues while still keeping you engaged and entertained. This film can be a trip down the memory lane for the 90’s kids featuring some amazing indie-pop songs of the early 2000s. 10. Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017):

It is a love triangle of three people searching for love, and the situations that arise in this search for love are hilarious! Kriti Sanon as Bitti Mishra is bold and delightful. If you decide to watch this film, get ready for a fun and hilarious ride!
